There's a bunch of mods available for Skyrim: Special Edition on both consoles and PC.
One mod that's available on all three platforms is pretty much essential for anyone who has already played Skyrim and doesn't want to drag themselves through the really slow, boring intro again.
I mean, you have to ride around in a cart for like eight days before you get to even create your character without the mod installed. You have to wait for what seems like ages to take your turn at the chopping block, and then when all that waiting is about to be blissfully over, a dragon appears. A dragon we've all seen countless times.
The mod is available on Nexus mods or through the in-game mod installer that uses Bethesda.net. This replaces Steam Workshop, and requires a Bethesda.net account. (It also has the most annoying sign-in menu I've ever seen. When you enter your login name, if you hit 'Tab' rather than going to the Password line, you exit the menu. Why? Who designed this madness? You have to press the 'Down' arrow to get to the Password menu, which is just crazy!)
Here's the official description from modder Arthmoor:
Misery and despair have haunted you all your life. Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, you've been arrested and thrown in the dungeons. Your trial was supposed to be weeks ago, only nobody has come for you. It's been so long since seeing daylight you no longer know what month it is anymore. The dungeon is cold, damp, and worse still, you're running out of food. At least you have that leak in the wall for water. It seems as though you've been forgotten, soon to rot away and die. The eight have forsaken you! Or.. have they?
Live Another Life provides an alternative means to start the game for those who do not wish to go through the lengthy intro sequence at Helgen. You will be given the opportunity to choose your race and then choose a new life for your character to lead. A wide variety of choices will be available. What you choose will have a lasting impact, so choose carefully or the gods may forsake you again!
Additional support has also been provided to allow you to extend Live Another Life with your own starts.
I haven't played a ton of Skyrim SE yet, but will have some thoughts on the game soon. So far, I find it falls in decidedly 'mixed-bag' territory, though being able to start without replaying the same intro was nice. Naturally, this mod and mods like it were available for vanilla Skyrim as well, but not on consoles. This gives PC and Xbox One players the ability to begin the game with an alternate start. A new beginning.
Update: An earlier version of this post stated that PS4 was also covered by this mod. I was mistaken. My apologies for the confusion. Oh, and a wag of the finger at Sony who really needs to make this happen. If PlayStation is the 'best place to play' then mods should be a no-brainer.

Is there/Could someone make a mod that makes it possible to click or press any key to skip the intro in-game?
Edit: Not just have it to not show up.
I would want this mod because I just installed a new intro(that looks awesome!) and sometimes I like to watch the intros but sometimes not so..
I would want this instead of needing to go to data folder and replace the .bik file.
Edit: I do Know some programming. Anyway anyone could learn to me how to modify the intro so you could press Any key to skip in the middle of it playing?

Jun 17, 2016 I saw the Captain America: Cival War movie last month, and while playing Fallout 4 with mods and having ONE companion betray me just to get shot down by my LOYAL companions. Bethesda has re-released Skyrim for every electronic device in living history, including the trusty microwave. As for the Special Edition on PC, many wondered why the company even bothered since graphics are only marginally better, but what makes this latest version so good is the addition of 64-bit support. This unlocks the full potential of Skyrim and its modding community, enabling for a more stable experience. We'll show you how to install mods and completely change Skyrim.

How to install mods for Skyrim Special Edition
In this guide, we'll be using Vortex (previously called Nexus Mod Manager), which is universally recommended to keep things organized and to make installing larger packages an absolute breeze. Nexus is a dedicated platform for modders to release and update their mods for various titles, including Skyrim Special Edition. As well as publishing their content, Nexus also enables for discussion, feedback, support, and more. The website is fairly easy to navigate with most mods correctly categorized for convenient filtering.
Installing Vortex
Register an account on the Nexus website.
Download Vortex (Nexus Mod Manager).
Install and then run Vortex.
Confirm the location of Skyrim Special Edition.
Select Skyrim Special Edition.
Hit OK.
Choose where you wish to store downloaded mods (default drive is the one with Skyrim SE installed).
Hit OK if an alert window shows.
Watch naruto shippuden episode 162. We need to run Skyrim SE to the main menu before activating mods, so give the game a boot to initial menu and then quit. This will create the much-needed .ini file for editing and will ensure we don't run into issues with mods not working correctly at a later date.
Installing Mods
Now it's time to select and install some mods. We rounded up some of our favorite Skyrim mods to get you started.
Search for mods on the Nexus website.
Carefully read through the description of each mod.
Choose the Files tab.
Select 'Download with Manager' on the correct file(s) you need for the mod.
Wait for the mods to download in Vortex.
Select a mod you wish to install and choose 'Install'.
Once you have a few mods downloaded you may notice the load order start to populate. This list is important because some mods and files need to be loaded by the game in a specific order. Mod authors generally offer information in mod descriptions on the Nexus should their files require to be configured in a set order, and there are even tools available like LOOT that can check to see if there are any problems with your setup.

Modders create and release extra content for fun and for the love of scripting, but leaving an endorsement or even a donation can provide much-needed feedback, especially if you've enjoyed hours of entertainment because of said mod(s). Leaving a few dollars can really make their day, but do consider at least leaving a comment and endorsing their work. Skyrim wouldn't be the same without its excellent modding community.

I don't want to watch the prisoner cart ride to the execution: is it possible to skip this?
If so, how? Can I replace the intro movie file by some empty video?
The game automatically saves the game just before the Imperials start reading off names.
Once you've played through the intro once (and assuming you haven't turned off Auto-Save) you can always load that game: It should list your name as 'Prisoner', your Race as 'Nord' and your level as '1'. (And is likely save 001).
If playing on the PC, installing the Alternate Start - Live Another Life mod will allow you to skip the game introduction cinematic at Helgen. It will offer a choice of which location you want to start in (you can start the game in Dawnstar, for example).
Live Another Life provides an alternative means to start the game for those who do not wish to go through the lengthy intro sequence at Helgen. You will be given the opportunity to choose your race and then choose a new life for your character to lead. A wide variety of choices will be available..
The minute they start taking names and by the time Hadvar says 'who are you', quickly save the game and you will instantly go to the character creator menu
